Job Description:               Site Engineer  


Site of Work:                    Direct to site or company workshop


Hours of Work:               Mon-Thurs: 7.00 am – 4.00 pm

                                          Fri: 7.00 am – 12.00 noon 


Overtime:                         As required (generally 10 hours / week)


Hourly Rate:                      £12.48 - £13.30 (including 10 % time keeping bonus)


Holidays:                            33 days / year


Manager:                           Assembly Supervisor   


Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Site work - Servicing the companies machinery -

Monthly, quarterly, 6 monthly and yearly.

Industrial washing machines.

Recycling equipment.

Transfer equipment (conveyor / screws etc).

Repairingcompany machinery and similar machinery on site.

Installingcompany machinery and systems.

Break downrepairs.

Machinery upgrades.


Secondary Responsibilities - work shop based.

Machine Assembly.



Testing newly assembled machinery.                                                

Modify machinery for specific trail work.

Assist in carrying out onsite trails.

General activities -Loading and unloading vehicles.


Required Qualifications:

Engineering qualification.


Skills required:

Mechanical engineering.

Knowledge of electrical circuits.

Good health and safety attitude.

Ability to work away from home.

Ability to work under your our initiative.

Good Time keeping.

Be able to speak with customers in a professional manner.



A van will also be supplied with the role, working away will be part of the role. In the UK and abroad. Working away allowance is paid £30.00/night plus all accommodation is paid for by the company or the client(excludes breakfast).
