Gorgeous opportunity for a TALENTED Legal Secretary to join our well-loved client in LEEDS CITY CENTRE.
You will be AMAZING at providing secretarial support to Fee Earners, Solicitors and Partners in the Family Department.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Audio and some copy typing to fee earners’ specification.
  • Producing documents from the Case Management system.
  • Filing, photocopying, collating of documents and other clerical duties.
  • Liaising with clients and other parties on behalf of Fee Earners and dealing with enquiries as appropriate.
  • Liaising with the Accounts department to produce cheques, pay disbursements etc.
  • Checking Legal Aid payments and distribution thereof.
  • Billing files and obtaining monies due to the firm from the clients and other parties.
  • Maintaining diaries and making appointments when required.
  • Maintaining legal knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving office procedures.
  • Contributing to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
Great skills you will have are:
  • Typing skills of 65 wpm.
  • Good keyboard skills.
  • Literate and numerate.
  • Ability to work accurately in accordance with the requirements of the team.  
  • Ability to deal with enquiries in a customer-friendly and effective manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
The salary for this role is dependent upon experience.
