Job Description
Established for more than 35 years, my client is one of the UK’s leading Large Format Digital and Dye-Sublimation printers, working for a range of well known, blue chip, high street names

An opportunity has arisen within the Finance Department for an AAT qualified, vibrant, self starter, to join the team. The successful applicant is likely to have a minimum of 2 years experience with a small to medium sized business and demonstrate strong Microsoft office skills , Payroll experience plus proven Sage 50 Accounts experience. Added to this we are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills and a great work ethic.

Key areas of responsibility include

Accounts Production Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts including, prepayments, accruals, variance analysis.
  • Payroll
  • Ad-hoc analysis to support business decision making.
  • Prepare key information to support annual preparation of statutory accounts.

Cash Management Responsibilities

  • Daily processing of receipts and payments, including reconciliations,
  • Maintain MIS exchange rates.

Sales Ledger Responsibilities

  • Produce daily sales reports for relevant managers.
  • Processing sales invoices, customer receipts, and customer statement.
  • Debt collection, maintaining and building relationships with customers
  • Invoice query resolution

Purchase Ledger Responsibilities (Absence and holiday cover)

  • The successful candidate will be required to provide absence and holiday cover for purchase ledger

Payroll Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be managing, in tandem with other staff within the department all aspects of the weekly and monthly payroll system including year end procedures;

Adhoc Responsibilities

  • Ensure all company HR policies are adhered to and assisting HR manager as required
  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a full time roll and the salary range is expected to be £20,000 – £25,000 subject to experience

  • Credit Control: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Payroll and Sage 50 Payroll: 2 years (Preferred)
