Qualifications
Requirements of the role:
  • Actively calling targeted businesses with the ultimate aim of bringing on new business in line with company strategy
  • Creating excellent pitches, presentations and proposals and negotiating to ensure a mutually beneficial deal is created for The Works
  • Excellent communication standards both spoken and written
  • Writing and presenting tender experience
  • Attending client meetings to gain new business and grow existing business to secure the future of The Works
  • Continually establishing client relationships and building a strong rapport to enable you to deliver an excellent customer service and further develop The Works' outstanding reputation.
  • Meeting weekly KPIs and monthly sales targets set by your Manager and agreed with by yourself
  • Attending regular networking events and seminars to promote our brand and cross sell into other divisions
  • Take ownership of your PDP to support the role of BDM
  
To succeed in this role you will have:
  • Great recruitment sales experience, ideally within an Engineering / Manufacturing sector
  • Proven experience in consistently exceeding sales targets and negotiating high level contracts
  • Ability to develop and secure new business opportunities across a large area of the country
  • Tenacity and resilience – able to keep going even when under pressure and facing tough situations
  • Confident to present high-level pitches to senior executives
  • Drive and enthusiasm to learn and succeed
  • The desire to attend networking events / seminars / exhibitions and promote company brand as part of your business development strategy
